Introducing our Speakers

These are our six core values, and they guide and shape teh way we do business.

Lisa Fried

Lisa is a Principal at BCG Zurich, where her journey began after earning a PhD in epigenomics from ETH Zurich. Her passion for discovery led her to pioneering work in DNA sequencing and image analysis, uncovering epigenetic changes linked to cancer. As a Women@BCG Node, Lisa is deeply committed to empowering women at BCG – championing their growth, careers, and the balance between ambition and family. She believes that diversity, mentorship, and supportive networks are not only essential for individual success but also key to strengthening our collective impact and driving innovation.

Lisa Christen

Lisa is an award-winning international Executive Coach, keynote speaker, and CEO of Christen Coaching & Consulting. She specializes in developing human-centric leadership skills for elite performers, helping them maximize their potential and build lasting legacies. A Forbes Coaches Council member and Fellow at Harvard Medical School’s Institute of Coaching, Lisa also lectures at the University of St. Gallen and advises Women in Tech Switzerland. Originally from New York, she now lives in Zug, balancing work with family, running, and an ever-growing bookshelf.

1. Keynote Speech

The evening kicks off with an inspiring keynote by Lisa Christen, encouraging you to take ownership of your career. Too often, we wait for opportunities instead of creating them – this session will empower you to recognize your ability to take action.

2. Canvas your Career

This interactive skills training will guide you in shaping your personal success plan. Through a creative exercise, you will gain a fresh perspective on your career journey. Rather than listing goals, you will explore new ways to visualize your growth, challenges, and aspirations.

3. Panel Discussion

The evening continues with a panel discussion featuring Lisa Fried and Lisa Christen, along with other BCGers. They will share personal career insights, the challenges they have faced, and the pivotal moments that shaped their success. This is your opportunity to gain valuable perspectives, hear real-life experiences, and ask questions.

4. Apéro & Networking

We will wrap up the evening with Apéro and networking, your chance to connect with peers and BCG professionals in a relaxed setting. Whether you want to discuss your career roadmap, seek advice or exchange ideas, this is the perfect space for meaningful conversations.

Who can apply?

We invite women* studying at a Swiss university from any study background in their third semester or beyond (Bachelor, Master and PhD levels). Submit your CV by Thursday, May 1, 2025. Expect a response by Friday, May 2, 2025 - please save the date provisionally in your calendar.
