We welcome candidates from all academic backgrounds and universities who are curious and open to new ideas. You’re eligible to apply for a full-time consulting position at BCG if you’re
  • a bachelor’s student from the fifth semester onward,
  • an MBA student
  • other master’s student
  • recent graduate, or

In addition to your academic background, you’ve already gained relevant work experience and had international exposure  – whether through an exchange program or at least three months of professional experience abroad. What sets you apart is your sharp analytical thinking and excellent communication skills. You’re curious and creative, with a strong aptitude for both numbers and people. A connection to Switzerland  – be it through your studies, background, or work experience  – is highly regarded for a role in consulting at BCG Switzerland.

Your entry level at BCG will depend on your academic background and career experience. The exact requirements and entry levels are outlined in each individual job posting.

No. We do not differentiate between entry-level and Visiting Associateship in terms of requirements and application criteria.

No consulting experience is required. In general, we place great importance on excellent academic achievements and relevant subject-specific practical and international experience. You’ll also receive intensive onboarding training and targeted training at every stage of your career.

No, you’ll start as a generalist and will not be immediately assigned to a practice area. However, you choose your career path yourself and can later specialize. You can express your preferences to our staffing team and thus shape your individual path at BCG.
