Your Mentoring Journey

Over the course of three months, you will embark on a journey of personal and professional development. In addition to several one-on-one mentoring sessions with your mentor, you will also take part in interactive workshops, case practice, and networking opportunities that will broaden your perspective and strengthen your skills.

1. Kick-Off & Skills Workshop

October 10, 2025

Get  ready to embark on a mentoring experience that will shape your personal and professional journey for years to come. In our kick-off session, you will meet your mentors and co-mentees over lunch, build connections, and get answers to all your questions – ensuring you make the most of the three-month program. Following the kick-off, we will dive into our first workshop on personal branding, where you will learn how to define your values, identify your audience, and highlight your expertise. You will leave equipped with practical tools and strategies to build an authentic personal brand that strengthens your growth and visibility.

2. Speed Networking

October 14, 2025

During the Speed Networking session, you will connect with BCGers from different practice areas and gain insights into their work and the industries they are shaping. In just one hour, you will have the chance to ask questions, engage in conversations, and learn from their personal experiences. This dynamic format offers a unique opportunity to discover what BCG really does and explore the exciting career paths we offer.

3. Case Preparation

November 3, 2025

The case preparation session will help you understand how to approach a case, work effectively in a team, and split tasks to solve problems collaboratively. You will learn key strategies to structure your thinking, communicate your ideas clearly, and manage time. This preparation will give you the confidence and tools needed to tackle complex challenges. It also serves as a foundation for the upcoming case workshop.

4. Case Workshop

November 7, 2025

Now it's your time to put theory into practice! In this interactive workshop, you will work on a case study with your peers and gain insights into the thinking and skills required to succeed as a consultant. Solving a business problem provides the perfect opportunity to sharpen your analytical skills while enjoying the collaborative experience with your team.

5. Hard Skills Workshop

November 17, 2025

In this workshop, you will dive deeper into Excel, one of the most essential tools consultants use every das to analyze and solve cases. This session is designed to give you practical, hands-on experience with the techniques required for structural problem-solving with Excel. You will have the chance to ask questions, receive valuable tips, and learn how to apply these methods effectively.

6. #IAmRemarkable Workshop

December 1, 2025

#IAmRemarkable is a global initiative that empowers somen and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond, breaking modesty norms and shattering glass seilings. In this session, we will explore and celebrate the many aspects that make you remarkable.

7. Key Takeaways & Closing

December 11, 2025

As the mentoring journey comes to an end, this session is all about reflecting on your experience and defining your key takeaways. You will also receive valuable guidance on the application and interview process at BCG, including practical tips from our consultants. Together, we will demystify case interviews, discuss what to expect, and share strategies to help you perform with confidence. To conclude the mentoring journey, we will round off the evening together at the beautiful Christmas market in Zurich.

How to apply

The program is open to women* from all fields of study (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) who have recently graduated or are enrolled at a Swiss university in their third semester or beyond.

First step
Apply with your CV and transcripts by Thursday, September 25.

Second step
On Friday, September 26, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to complete a short video interview. You will then have time until Monday, September 29 to submit your recordings.

This video interview is not about solving a case or preparing complex exercises. Instead, it is simply an opportunity for us to get to know you a little better beyond your CV. Think of it as a chance to bring your CV to life, highlight your experiences, and share your motivation in your own words. We are curious to get to know your personality, understand what drives you, and learn more about your journey so far.
