Panel Discussion

At the heart of the program is an open and authentic panel discussion moderated by Lisa Fried, Partner at BCG Zurich. Holding a PhD in epigenomics from ETH Zurich, Lisa began her career in DNA sequencing and image analysis, uncovering epigenetic changes linked to cancer. As Women@BCG Node, Lisa is deeply committed to empowering women at BCG – championing their growth, careers, and the balance between ambition and family. She believes that diversity, mentorship, and supportive networks are not only essential for individual success, but also key to strengthening our collective impact and driving innovation.

During the panel, BCGers from diverse backgrounds and career stages will share their personal journeys – the bold decisions that shaped them, the moments that sparked growth, the setbacks they’ve faced, the doubts they overcame, the wins they celebrated, and the leadership steps that defined their paths.

The discussion is designed to be interactive, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, share your thoughts, and gain deeper insight into career development, leadership opportunities, and the initiatives supporting women at BCG.

Event Timeline

1. Arrival & Welcome Drinks

Arrive, settle in, and enjoy welcome drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Take the opportunity to meet fellow participants and start the evening with inspiring first conversations. Lisa Fried, Partner and Women@BCG Node at BCG Zurich, will officially open the evening and share her perspective on empowerment, leadership, and careers at BCG.

2. Panel Discussion

Join an open and authentic panel discussion with BCGers from diverse backgrounds and career stages, moderated by Lisa Fried, Partner and Women@BCG Node at BCG Zurich. Hear personal stories, bold decisions, and lessons learned – and engage directly by asking your own questions.

3. Flying Dinner & Networking

We will wrap up the formal program with key takeaways and introduce the networking part of the evening. Enjoy a flying dinner while connecting with BCGers and fellow participants. Dive deeper into conversations and build valuable relationships.

4. DJ Set

As the evening continues, a DJ set creates a vibrant atmosphere for informal networking, relaxed conversations, and celebrating new connections.

We invite all women* studying at a Swiss university from any study background in their third semester or beyond (Bachelor, Master, MBA and PhD programs), as well as young professionals with 1–2 years of work experience. Apply with your CV and transcripts by Thursday, April 9, 2026.
