​​​​​​​Up for a strategy business competition? Work in a team of three to develop real-life strategies for a global market and technology company with over $4.4bn in revenue. Seize the opportunity by participating in the BCG Strategy Cup. 

In this year's edition, you and your team will be working with Bekaert - a world market and technology leader in steel wire transformation and coating technologies. Together with Bekaert and BCG consultants, you will have the opportunity to learn how the world's leading strategy consultancy creates impact, to hear their journeys, to learn new skills and to receive expert advice & feedback on your problem solving, team working and presentation skills.

Who can apply?
The event is designed for all students from Belgian universities, regardless of their field or year of study (no background in business/economics is required to participate).

We will also host two winning teams for the 2022 edition of the BCG Strategy Cup: one Master team and one Bachelor team – each team member will win a prize worth €1,000, including the newest iPad Air.

If a Master student is subscribing with two other Bachelor students, the team counts as a Master team.

Agenda
We will launch the 2022 edition of the BCG Strategy Cup February 21th. From home, you and your two teammates will participate in an interactive online game linked to the key topic Bekaert wants to tackle with you.

You will share your recommendations and your creative ideas with us.

We will select the semi-finalist teams, based on the online game results. Shortly after that, the selected students will be informed about their newly composed teams of six students (two teams of three students will be merged into a team of six students).

On February 24th and February 25, the semi-finalists teams will meet BCG consultants and Bekaert’s management in order to further refine their innovative business idea.

On Friday, February 25th, all participants will be invited to join the Finals event. The finalist teams will be selected and present in front of Bekaert’s CEO and board members and BCG leadership. Finally, we will announce the two winning teams: one Master team and one Bachelor team.
