Where Your Differences Can Make a Difference
Meet a few of our BCGers in Switzerland, learn more about their various career paths, and what they like about beeing part of the Group.
"I was always curious about different topics which led me to study engineering and work psychology. For my first job, I wanted to be able to keep exploring various industries while being able to feel the impact of my work. Having been working at BCG for a few years, I can say that joining the firm has delivered exactly that."
"I constantly search for inspiring people from whom I can learn and who can help me unlock my potential. But I also try to inspire others. A fun aspect of BCG is that I also get the chance to coach colleagues along the way. Or even participants at our recruiting events and show them the ropes of consulting at BCG. For me, the most important element in a job: talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships."
"Have you ever wondered if family life and a consulting job would go hand in hand? At BCG they do.
I just got promoted to Partner at our BCG Zurich office while working 80% because I also have a very active family life: three kids!
For me, the FlexTime at BCG model works, because it allows me to have both: a career with BCG and time with my family."
"Since joining BCG I have had the chance to work with so many bright and inspirational people on many different cases. Every day is different and that keeps me on my toes and motivated at the same time. There is never a dull moment."
"I grew up in Karlsruhe, a mid-size city in the south of Germany, and studied Medicine & Health Economics at the University of Heidelberg. For me, BCG represents the possibility to see and learn from different industries, countries and also cultures, while working with bright and motivated colleagues."
slide 1 of 2 “I am excited to be part of the next CEO Ambassador cohort and thrilled about the possibility to interact with BCG’s senior leadership on a regular basis. The opportunity to be part of the project team which will work closely with the new to-be-appointed CEO, will be a fantastic opportunity to observe how a CEO agenda is put in action on a global scale.” Stephanie, Associate, BCG Zurich, Participant of the CEO Ambassador Program Learn more about Stephanie's Story "I never imagined a studied molecular biologist would end up at BCG as a leader in the work field for BCG’s Principal Investors and Private Equity in Switzerland. However, the fact that I ended up in this sphere of expertise is more of a coincidence than meticulous planning. And I would do it all over if I had to." Benjamin, Managing Director & Partner, BCG Zurich Learn more about Benjamin's Story "I was always interested in getting to know the health care sector from a more holistic perspective and to think about questions that different stakeholders face. With BCG you can help biopharma companies, payers, providers or other public / global health organizations tackle many of their current most pressing problems."
