Bridge to Consulting Workshop

The Bridge to Consulting Workshop enables freshman (first year) and sophomore (second year) students who have demonstrated a commitment to promoting the firm's values of diversity and inclusion within their community to explore life as an Associate at BCG.​ The program will also provide exposure to consultants from our Employee Networks, including the Black+Latinx@BCG and Indigenous@BCG Networks, who will share more about their experience in consulting and at BCG.

Bridge to Consulting Workshop Overview

During this immersive workshop in the spring, attendees will:
  • Learn about our firm and the collaborative work we do​
  • Meet inspirational BCG leaders and consultants​
  • Network and build connections with peers from across the nation​
  • Participate in interview prep to develop your interview toolkit​
Characteristics of a Bridge to Consulting Candidate:
  • Current freshman (first year) or sophomore (second year) students at a U.S. or Canadian university who expect to graduate in 2027 or 2028​
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting the firm’s values of diversity and inclusion within their community during high school, college, or otherwise​
  • Outstanding academic achievement​
  • Passionate and natural problem solvers​
  • Strong leadership skills and team players​
  • Excellent communication skills​

You will be asked to provide:
  • Resume​
  • Cover letter (optional—you may upload your resume twice if the system requires an upload and you do not want to submit a cover letter) ​
  • Short essay about how you have demonstrated a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within your community (100 words or less)​
  • College transcripts​
  • Your top 2 office preferences (weighted to reflect your level of interest in each)​

Additional requirements for candidates applying to a U.S. Office:​
  • ACT and/or SAT total scores with sub-score breakdowns​

This program is open to all who are curious about or interested in the world of consulting. We welcome students of all majors to apply. There is no prior knowledge of business concepts required to apply for the Bridge to Consulting program.

Office preference does not influence your chances of being selected, and all offices are excited to review applications! We encourage you to list the office location(s) in which you are most interested in living and working in post-graduation. All offices have the same interview process and hiring standards.

Yes, this program is only for our U.S. and Canadian offices. If you select an office outside of the U.S. and Canada, your application will not be considered for the Bridge to Consulting Program.

If you are interested in an internship in one of our international offices, we encourage you to apply for a Summer Associate Internship after you have completed your sophomore (second year) of college.

Absolutely! We are always looking for outstanding talent. Depending on your class year, we encourage you to apply for our other internship roles, such as our Growing Future Leaders Program or our Summer Associate Internship Program.
