Our selection process is designed to help us get to know you and give you a clear picture of what it’s like to join our team. To start, you’ll need to apply online and upload your CV. After an initial review, we’ll invite you to complete a short numerical assessment, which forms part of your application. If you’re successful, you’ll then move on to a final CV review before being invited to our first-round interviews.

All decisions are made after the deadline, so you are not at a disadvantage if you apply later in the application window.

We look for candidates with a strong academic background (at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent), as well as evidence of excellence in areas outside of academics – whether that’s through extracurricular activities, leadership roles, or other achievements.

The interview stage includes case-based discussions with senior members of our London consulting team, giving you the chance to showcase your skills and learn more about the work we do.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • You are in your final year of study or have graduated with less than two years of full-time work experience
  • Strong analytical skills for quantitative problem-solving, paired with high attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills to evaluate information, make informed decisions, and develop innovative solutions
  • Comfort working in dynamic environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local office language(s)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to changing environments

If you have a PhD or Medical Degree, the process is the same however you will be considered for a Senior Associate position.

We Offer Consulting Internships in the UK

As a consulting intern, you’ll collaborate with a diverse team to solve our clients’ problems, benefitting from our world-class learning and development programs. You can also build solid foundation from which to be considered for a full-time consulting role with us.

As an intern at BCG London, you will be a fully integrated member of a case team, in a similar way to an Associate new joiner. The internship will be eight weeks, throughout July and August, and you will be evaluated for an offer for a full-time graduate role at the end of the programme.

Whilst the graduate Associate role is for those who have recently graduated or are nearing the end of their studies, you must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelors, Masters, or Advanced Degree programme in order to be eligible for the internship (please note you are not eligible if you are due to graduate prior to the internship but plan to take on additional study).
