Meet Our Team

Kyle Ruttan is the Campus Recruiting Partner for Toronto and Managing Director & Partner.  Kyle originally joined BCG as a Summer Associate in 2009, re-joining for full-time in 2010 after completing the joint Integrated Engineering and Business program at Western University and the Ivey School of Business.  Kyle’s consulting practice focuses on serving leading Telecom clients across North America across a range of topics, with a special focus on applying AI to drive business impact.  As part of his work, he spent a year with BCG’s Sydney office supporting Telco clients as a BCG Practice Area Ambassador.  Outside of work, Kyle’s interests include running, snowboarding and cheering on the Raptors.

Recruiting Partner
Charlotte MacDonald is a Principal and Associate Recruiting Director in the BCG Toronto office. Charlotte joined BCG as an Associate in 2013. She spent her first couple of years exploring a variety of industries, and has since primarily served Retail and Consumer Goods clients, covering a variety of topics including large transformations, pricing strategy, and franchise strategy. During this time, she spent six months staffed in London, UK and worked with teams from all over North America. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School. Charlotte is a proud Atlantic Canadian, having grown up between Halifax and PEI. Outside of work, she enjoys doing anything she can to stay active (a recent Peloton convert) and re-acquainting herself with the Toronto restaurant scene.

Charlotte Macdonald
Principal, Associate Recruiting Director
Marwan joined BCG Toronto as an Associate in May 2021. He has case experience in the PIPE practice. Prior to joining BCG, Marwan's experience was mainly in operations consulting. He worked at Deloitte (Public Sector Transformation in Toronto) and MNP (process improvement in Mississauga). He also worked in procurement at a Real Estate Development Firm in Oakville. Marwan graduated from Ivey Business School in 2021 with an Honors in Business Administration. Before Ivey, Marwan spent two years studying Political Science. In his free time, Marwan enjoys playing and watching soccer, travelling (when it is safe to do so), and watching classic movies.

Marwan Yousif
Associate, Richard Ivey Co-Captain: HBA
Zoe joined the Toronto office as an Associate in October 2020, having previously completed a summer internship with BCG and LEAP in 2019. During her internship, Zoe worked closely with Gamma on a digital consumer case supporting the development and roll-out of an Advanced Analytics tool to improve promotion (promotion funding) optimization for a food retailer in Canada. Zoe Yang graduated (quite anticlimactically) from Ivey Business School in April 2020 with an HBA degree. Prior to joining BCG, she worked on the business side of tech companies including a marketing start-up in Toronto, Uber in the Bay area, and Goodfood in Montreal. Outside of work, Zoe enjoys staying active, experimenting with new recipes, reading, and traveling. She is always up for a friendly game of ultimate frisbee and enjoys finding new trails to hike!

Alisha is a Talent Acquisition Specialist in BCG's Toronto office. She joined as a Recruiting Intern back in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction from Ryerson University, majoring in Human Resources and minoring in Psychology. Prior to working for BCG, Alisha had worked in the nuclear/electricity industry supporting Kinectrics Inc. Outside of work Alisha enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and testing out new food trends.

Talent Acquisition Specialist
Jamie Habert is a Principal and Consultant Recruiting Director in BCG’s Toronto office. He joined the firm in 2017, and has worked primarily in BCG’s Consumer, TURN and Principal Investors & Private Equity practice areas. In particular, Jamie has significant experience working with professional Sports businesses. Jamie previously worked as a lawyer at Goodmans LLP, where he practiced corporate and securities law. He graduated from the combined JD/HBA program at Western Law School and the Richard Ivey School of Business. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his daughter, seeking out new restaurants in Toronto and abroad, and cheering for Toronto's sports teams.

Principal, Consultant Recruiting Director
Lauryn Murphy is a Project Leader in BCG’s Toronto Office. Lauryn completed her HBA in 2016, and upon graduating, joined Monitor Deloitte in Toronto for 2 years before moving to BCG in 2019 as a Senior Associate. Since joining the firm, Lauryn has mostly worked in BCG’s TURN, FI, and Consumer practice areas. She also recently completed an internal secondment, the “CEO Ambassadorship”, where she helped BCG launch a non-profit in partnership with 10 leading global airlines, the Aviation Climate Taskforce, focused on accelerating the decarbonization of the aviation sector. Outside of work, Lauryn enjoys road cycling, spinning (she used to teach at Ride Cycle Club in Toronto!), and spending time with family and friends.

Josh Beattie is a Project Leader in the Toronto office and joined BCG full-time in 2019, following a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business. He also holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. At BCG, Josh primarily works in the Consumer practice with a focus on retail analytics use cases. Prior to BCG, Josh worked as a corporate lawyer for a full-service law firm in Toronto. Outside of work, Josh enjoys basketball, reading, painting, and practicing Spanish.

Prior to working for BCG, Sheena Rughani worked for Hydro One where she supported the Chief Information Officer and her team of directors. Before moving to Canada from the UK, Sheena worked for Pfizer as a Team Administrator supporting directors and senior managers within the medical team whilst combining her pharmaceutical knowledge and skills to support the successful execution of company projects. Sheena holds a Master’s in Pharmacy from the University of Portsmouth and worked for several years as a community pharmacist providing patients and healthcare professionals therapeutic recommendations based on evidence-based medicine whilst cultivating strong relationships. When not at work, Sheena enjoys playing badminton competitively, swimming and travelling to new countries.
