Consulting at BCG Denmark

Visiting Associate Internship

As a Visiting Associate at our Copenhagen office, you will join consultants, data scientists, and technologists to work daily with the world’s leading businesses on a wide range of high-level strategic challenges.

For 6 weeks you will be fully involved in transformational, cutting-edge client work together with your team. The knowledge, experience, and skills you gain will provide you with a springboard to excel in any field within BCG and beyond.

After a successfully completed internship, you may be offered to return to BCG as a full-time Associate upon the completion of your university studies.

The application window for internships in Copenhagen is open throughout the year, which means that you can apply whenever it suits you. Just keep in mind that the sooner you apply, the more time you will have to practice for the interview and to plan your internship.

Crack the Case
Crack the Case is our annual social impact case competition that aims to solve the most acute societal issues in partnership with an NGO. Students from different schools and study lines across Denmark come together to create real impact on a company.

This is your chance to try on the consultant's shoes for three days inside the beautiful amusement park and pleasure garden in the city center of Copenhagen, Tivoli.

It is also a great networking opportunity as you get to meet many other brilliant students, BCG consultants, participate in social events, and have a lot of fun.

For a sneak-peek of the program, you can have a look at the video above from Crack the Case 2022.

Our Project Leader, Sidsel Green, joined Crack the Case in 2016 and won together with her team.

Women Mentorship Program

A chi si rivolge

Horizon@BCG è pensato per chi si trova in un momento di passaggio, con lo sguardo rivolto al futuro ma senza ancora tutti gli strumenti per affrontarlo con fiducia.

Noor Yassin
Head of Nordic Recruiting

“It is not just about recruiting people to fill out the empty seats in our company. It is about finding a group of diverse individuals who will contribute their knowledge and skills, drive the company forward, and define its future.”

Peter Jameson
Managing Director and Partner
Brittania Royal Naval College, University of Warwick

“[...] No risk is greater than the risk that our precious planet faces. We are very advanced in the Nordics and I feel honored to be working with organizations that are taking risks and being bold. ”

Trine de Nully
Project Leader
Fudan University & Universitá Bocconi

“The first time I applied to BCG, my application was rejected, even before getting an interview. I worked hard after that, improved my grades, studied abroad, and had other great job experiences. I applied to BCG again 1.5 years later and received an offer.”

Birna Johannesdottir
Project Leader
ESADE

"[At BCG] you are encouraged to step out of your comfort zone, to think about your strenghts and how you can build on those qualities but also to think about what areas you can develop to be an even better version of yourself."

Sixten Albrecht-Olson
Associate

"Working at BCG has allowed me to think way beyond the boundaries of my background in law. I believe that the impact we bring is ultimately the sum of applying different minds and thought processes to clients’ biggest challenges.”

Kristine Buus
Consultant

"At BCG, we are both empowered and encouraged to chart our own course. There are about as many career paths at BCG, as there are BCG'ers - Becoming a mother early on in my career taught me just how important this is."

Perspectives of life as a new BCGer

"From my very first case, I quickly learned that you are given a lot of responsibility - no matter your tenure. Now after having experienced a few cases, I am impressed by the thorough feedback system and continuous willingness to teach from the people I have worked with. Naturally, this is accompanied by an expectation of a willingness to learn. My current case is a travel-case, which includes flying to London every week. This is a great opportunity to dive even deeper into the casework and, importantly, to get to know my team and the client really well. This social aspect is an invaluable part of BCG - when you spend a lot of time with great people, you tend to become friends along the way."
