Supporting Families On Their Unique Journeys
Families@BCG brings together parents and other caregivers in North America with the goal of providing opportunities to connect. Network members come together to share experiences, tips and tricks, and resources. Members also engage in panels and programming that focus on how to effectively support their families while creating successful and sustainable careers at BCG.
Uplifting Families at BCG
With over 1,250 members across North America, Families@BCG provides affiliation, development, and support for caregivers. For over four years, we have been focusing on providing best-in-class benefits, support of the community, and dedication to your success at BCG as a working parent or caregiver.
Raising a family looks different for everyone, and comes with different sets of challenges. No matter how common or unique those are, anyone can find a role model and support they need.
“This network has empowered me to set strong boundaries to protect my precious family time, and I’ve leaned on my fellow Families@BCG members for advice on everything and anything child related. I’m also very thankful of the friendships I’ve formed through this network, in addition to all the new playmates my two kids get as a result.”

"The Families@BCG network has been a constant pillar of support for me - especially given the fact that my family moved across continents just before the pandemic. It has helped us build a support system outside family that has often helped with recommendations on child care and activities to keep children engaged. Some of the expert sessions organized by the network helped me learn how my peers were navigating COVID and work-from-home with kids. We have also enjoyed all the events organized by the network and really look forward to the next one!"

"The WC Families buddy program has been very helpful when my son was born. I felt like I had a community of like-minded parents who are going through the same challenges. I got some of my best tips from my co-workers!"

"Families@BCG has been a great resource for navigating through the ups and downs of parenting. From getting recommendations for child care or doctors to advice on how to better help my boys in various life stages they are in, to encouragement from one parent to another. Knowing I have a supportive group to turn to in this journey has been a life and sanity saver!"

Getting the positive reinforcement during my recruitment with BCG that I could be my authentic self at my workplace was exactly what I needed to make my choice. My favorite thing about Pride@BCG is the way the network helps us come together and the camaraderie we feel with every other member knowing that all of us have some level of similarities in the issues we've faced in our lives." Rajthilak Rajasekar Consultant, Singapore "Through Pride@BCG, I’ve connected with a tremendous group of peers spanning all regions of the globe and all levels of tenure. The Network has truly become my extended BCG family. I know that my career development at BCG is strongly supported by both the formal mentor program and the mentoring provided by Pride@BCG. Through the Network, I’ve established relationships with a number of senior leaders in the firm, and they have demonstrated a clear interest in ensuring that I am growing as a consulting professional, finding intellectual challenges, and having a positive experience at BCG." Gabrielle Novacek Managing Director and Partner, Chicago, USA Learn more about Gabrielle "One of my personal focuses within the Pride network is to increase awareness and support for intersectional identities within our own community. In early 2020, we launched a Slack channel specifically for women, trans, and gender non-conforming people in Pride@BCG. As a queer non-binary person, having the support of BCG to pursue efforts like this is really incredible and has led to some of my favorite moments and connections in the network."
