We are thrilled to invite you to the second edition of BrillianCE, a transformative two-day event in Prague, Czech Republic exclusively designed for women. This unique experience provides an inside look into the dynamic world of consulting. At BrillianCE, you'll gain hands-on experience with a real project, guided by seasoned professionals from BCG, and explore the possibilities of a consulting career.

BrillianCE is more than just a career exploration, we value the importance of building connections. Throughout the program, you'll also have the chance to participate in an interactive panel discussion, workshops and informal networking activities. These interactions are designed to inspire, inform, and address any questions you may have about consulting or life at BCG.


Please note, there is no participation fee. BCG will cover travel and accommodation costs for selected participants.

This year's topic: Blockchain-Powered Sustainable Future


This year’s workshop will center on a real-world sustainability challenge, where participants will work closely with VeChain, a leading blockchain technology company, to crack a live case. Blockchain technology can incentivize individuals to make sustainable decisions on a daily basis. During this workshop, participants will identify and assess common sustainability challenges, understand how blockchain can drive change, and co-develop concepts of blockchain-based ecosystems that interconnect various stakeholders to address these challenges.

Let us introduce VeChain, a company facilitating real-world blockchain adoption. VeChain's mission is to empower communities to create a positive impact for people and the planet. During the workshop, participants will engage directly with VeChain, gaining hands-on experience by working on a live case. This interaction provides a unique opportunity to tackle real sustainability issues while experiencing the consulting process in a dynamic environment.

AGENDA

14-15 November, 2024

BrillianCE is a 2-day event designed for over 50 talented women from Central Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with each other, explore the world of consulting, and connect with BCG professionals from Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. Join us in Prague for a unique experience that fosters professional growth and meaningful connections.
Wednesday, 13 November
Participants arrive and engage in a lively welcome activity designed to foster connections and set a positive tone for the event.
Thursday, 14 November
The day begins with an introduction to sustainability and blockchain technology, followed by collaborative case work and planning and an exciting activity discovering Prague, exploring iconic spots, and concluding with a fun networking dinner.
Friday, 15 November
Participants finalize their case studies, enjoy a farewell lunch, and present their proposed solutions to the committee before the event’s official closing. The event will conclude with engaging and insightful panel discussions featuring senior leaders and representatives from the CE region.

How to Apply to the BrillianCE
Women's Workshop

Our BrillianCE Women’s Workshop is open to university and PhD students (undergraduate, master’s, or PhD programs) who self-identify as women. We are seeking students from all fields of study who have an outstanding academic track records and curious minds eager for new challenges.

To apply, submit your application online using the link for one of the participating countries below. The respective office will review your application. Please be sure to include your résumé, along with any additional documents required by the local office/region.

When selecting your preferred office, we recommend choosing based on geographic ties (for example, if you have studied or lived in the respective country, or speak the local language). Please apply through ONE link only and note the specific application requirements for each participating country, as they may vary. Multiple applications will not be accepted.

Important information:

  • Once you submit your application, you can expect to hear back from us by end-October.

  • Please note that if you are selected to attend BrillianCE, you must possess a valid ID.

  • If you are a non-European citizen, you must have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after the event date).

  • Obtaining a passport is at the applicant's own cost. BCG will bear the cost of obtaining the relevant visa, if needed.

  • Please make sure that all your documents in your profile are up to date and meet the requirements of the specific country you are applying on behalf of.
