Meet Our Team

Whitney is a Managing Director & Partner and Recruiting Director for BCG's Calgary office. She has experience across Energy, Mining, Industrial Goods, and Whitney has worked with clients across North America and in the Alberta oil sands on a range of topics from large scale digital transformations, implementation and coaching on agile and new ways of working, development of Data Science & Machine Learning solutions, and more. Whitney holds a Bachelor in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the Ross School of Business. Outside of work Whitney enjoys trying new restaurants, playing soccer, running, and spending time in the mountains golfing and snowboarding.

Whitney Hughes-Plummer
Recruiting Partner
Peter Davidge is a Project Leader in BCG’s Calgary office. He joined the firm in 2018 as a Senior Associate, after spending four years with a boutique consulting firm. As a consultant, Peter has serviced clients in a broad range of industries, including Telecom, Energy, Retail, and Private Equity. He is passionate about BCG’s Digital offerings and has done cases with BCG Gamma, Platinion, and Digital Ventures. Internally, he leads associate recruiting in Calgary and has supported several pro-bono cases for Calgary based charities and organizations. Before joining BCG, Peter worked for Stroud International, a boutique consulting firm that focuses on operations and capital projects. Peter is a Dean’s Scholar with a BASc. in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University. He is an avid skier, mountaineer, bookworm and self-proclaimed Iron Chef.

Peter Davidge
Calgary Recruiting Director
Kavita joined BCG's Calgary office in January 2022. She studied economics and English literature at UBC and graduated in 2021. Kavita is passionate about helping students navigate and feel confident in their path forward; prior to BCG, she ran an EdTech startup to boost students' exam results and confidence, later expanding this into a podcast interviewing successful professionals about how they navigated critical decision points throughout their careers. While at UBC, Kavita completed an exchange at Cambridge University, worked as a Research Assistant at Sauder's Behavioural Science Division, and ran the AMS Entrepreneurship Hub. At BCG so far, her experiences have ranged from due diligences and strategy transformations to helping build an app(!). Outside of work, she loves playing the piano, often attempts to drag herself to the gym, and enjoys the odd visit to Vancouver to spend time with family.

Kavita Dau
Associate, Co-Captain
John joined BCG as an Associate in 2019 after completing his BCom in Business & Computer Science at UBC. At BCG, he has worked across several industries, most closely with the Automotive and Private Equity practice areas. He also partakes in BCG's social impact initiatives, such as Hack the Globe (BCG's social impact hackathon) and supporting LEAP's social venture accelerators. During his time at UBC, John interned as a Web Developer at various tech startups, participated in JDC West, and represented Sauder School of Business at multiple international case competitions. Outside of work, John enjoys woodworking, jazz drumming, and dreaming of one day owning a yacht.

John Kim
Consultant, Co-Captain
Elan joined BCG in 2021 after working as a geotechnical engineer (P.Eng.) in mining and O&G (Shell and Canadian Natural Resources) for five years. She received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia where she graduated with Distinction / First Class Honours. Elan is actively involved in her community, currently serving on the Board of Directors of a local non-profit organization, Young Professionals in Energy (Calgary Chapter), which aims to build a strong network of young professionals in the energy sector in Calgary and beyond. In her spare time, Elan enjoys hiking, cycling, skiing, photography, and reading. She loves to travel and is always seeking out new adventures!

French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French. Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with clients, partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebec.
