BCG Empower

A BCG Unlock workshop for incoming MBA who have demonstrated commitment to creating an environment of inclusion and respect for the individual and/or demonstrated unique perspective or background. Designed to provide you with hands-on experience, BCG Empower will help you grow your business toolkit and learn the skills you’ll need to solve some of the world’s biggest problems.
Welcome to BCG Empower 2025
 Whether you already plan on becoming a consultant or are hoping to discover if consulting is right for you, we encourage you to apply to BCG Empower as a first step to shaping your professional future. 

Our sessions will take place in Chicago on July 9-11, and Virtually on July 14-15.
Program Overview

We seek to hire the best talent in the world, with a broad range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds, knowing that this diversity sparks innovation and strengthens our ability to tackle our clients’ most complex challenges. BCG Empower, which is part of BCG Unlock, is a workshop for incoming MBA who have demonstrated commitment to creating an environment of inclusion and respect for the individual and/or demonstrated unique perspective or background. Designed to provide you with hands-on experience, BCG Empower will help you grow your business toolkit and learn the skills you’ll need to solve some of the world’s biggest problems.

The program will also provide exposure to consultants from our Employee Networks, including the Black+Latinx@BCG and Indigenous Networks, who will share more about their experience in consulting and at BCG.  Through small group sessions, case prep, and social events, participants will get the chance to build a network of mentors and meet other pre-MBA peers, all while learning more about a possible career in consulting at BCG.

You will receive an email from BCG in late May indicating if you have been selected to join the BCG Empower workshop portion of BCG Unlock.

We will offer a mix of in-person and virtual options to ensure a good experience for everyone. More information will come with your invitation.

Absolutely. BCG Empower is a competitive program, and space is limited. The decision on your BCG Empower application does not affect any other application you may submit to BCG during business school. Regardless of the outcome, we encourage you to participate in BCG Unlock programming and pursue internship opportunities with BCG.
