Debbie Fredberg, Head of Sloan Talent Acquisition

Meet Our Team

Debbie has been BCG's Head of Sloan Talent Acquisition since 2017. In 2021, Debbie assumed responsibility for Harvard Business School and Tuck in addition to Sloan. She was most recently an Associate Director in the MIT Sloan Career Development Office. Prior to her time at Sloan, Debbie was a career advisor at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Her previous work experience includes brand management at The Gillette Company, managing the Office for Women's Careers at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and being an admissions board member at Harvard Business School. Prior to attending The Wharton School for her MBA, Debbie was a consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton's Media and Entertainment and Consumer Products practices. When she is not at work, Debbie can be found sailing with her husband, 2 teenage daughters and their Portuguese water dog.

Jami Dunn is the Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist for HBS, Sloan, and Tuck, based out of our Boston office. Prior to joining BCG, Jami worked on the People Operations team at Foundation Medicine. She also previously worked at Sloan's Career Development Office on the Employer Relations & Recruiting team. Jami holds a BA in Communication from UMass Amherst and an MEd in Higher Education Administration from Boston University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, consuming reality TV, and reading. ​

Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist
Elise McNamara is a Talent Acquisition Specialist at BCG. She works in the Boston office and supports the recruiting process at HBS, Sloan and Tuck. Elise graduated from Westfield State University with a major in Business Management. Prior to BCG, she worked on the legal talent team at a real estate law firm. In her free time, she loves to take cycle classes, cook new recipes, and go to the beach.

Kate Leahy is a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the HBS, Sloan, and Tuck team, based out of our Boston office. Kate recently completed her Master's in Higher Education Administration from Boston College, where she worked in the Carroll School of Management Office of Graduate Recruitment & Enrollment and the Dean of Students Office of Disability Services. She earned her BA in Media Studies, PR & Advertising from the University of Tulsa and is a St. Louis native. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, watching Survivor, and snuggling with her pups, Bagel & Charlie.

Kate Leahy
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Allie is the Sloan Campus Recruiting Specialist and a Project Leader in the Boston office, where she works primarily in the Healthcare, Private Equity, and Public Sector Practice Areas. She was a Summer Consultant in 2019 before joining full-time in August 2020. Prior to BCG, Allie worked in product management at athenahealth, focused on medical specialist workflows and transgender health. She received her MBA from MIT Sloan and her BE in Biomedical Engineering from Dartmouth College. Outside of work, Allie enjoys trying out new recipes with her wife, watching and occasionally playing rugby, and gardening with her grandfather.

Racquel is the Talent Acquisition Lead for all North American-based recruiting for BCG's international offices. Racquel is located in the Boston office and graduated from Boston College with a major in History and a minor in Philosophy. In her free time, Racquel loves to run and spend time on the beach.

Global Talent Acquisition Lead
Dimitri joined BCG in 2017. At BCG, he has served clients across a wide range of industries with the majority of his work residing in the consumer sector. Dimitri received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and his M.S. and Ph.D. in the same field from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds an MBA from the University of Texas – Austin’s McCombs School of Business. In his free time, Dimitri enjoys Crossfit, cooking, and spending time with family.

Dimitri Hughes
Black, Latinx, and Indigenous Recruiting Director
Nico is a member of the Consumer Goods practice, with a focus on Fashion & Luxury, and Marketing. Nicolas originally joined BCG's Bogota Office and transferred to New York after completing his MBA. During his MBA, Nicolas interned at YOOX Net-A-Porter Group in Milan and Cole Haan in New York. Nicolas earned his MBA at Harvard Business School. He holds a Master in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA in Business and Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.

Pride@BCG Recruiting Director
Rylan joined BCG in August 2017. He primarily works in Healthcare R&D, with a focus on biopharma clinical trials. He has extensive experience working with DV and Gamma. Prior to joining the firm, Rylan served as a US Navy officer with expertise in both anti-piracy and long-range missile planning. He is part of Veterans@BCG and serves on the leadership team as head of recruiting. Rylan holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Duke University.

Veterans@BCG Recruiting Director
Patrick joined BCG as a Summer Consultant in 2019 and returned full-time in September 2020. He primarily works in Aerospace and Defense across manufacturing, supply chain and strategy topics with both government and commercial clients. Patrick is a member of the Veterans@BCG and currently serves as Recruiting Director for the network. Before joining the firm, Patrick spent over eight years in the U.S. Navy as a maritime patrol and reconnaissance aviator, operations manager, and aide de camp to the Navy’s budget leader (OPNAV N9). Patrick earned his BA in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Matt is a Project Leader in the Chicago office of Boston Consulting Group and a member of the Technology and Digital Advantage (TDA) practice. Prior to BCG, Matt worked for 5 years in various software engineering roles for NVISIA, a boutique software consulting firm, and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Matt received an MBA and certificate in Health Sector Management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and BS in Computer Science from Indiana University."

Application Process

SUMMER APPLICATION DEADLINE

It’s an exciting time to join BCG! Please apply here by November 13, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET. You will be asked to provide:
  • A resume
  • Your office preference(s)—up to three, weighted to reflect your level of interest in each​
  • A cover letter (optional—you may upload your resume twice if the system requires an upload and you do not want to submit a cover letter)​
  • An indication of your interest in the DigitalBCG Consultant role. DigitalBCG Consultants have previous digital/technical work experience and want the majority of their work to be spent solving digital problems.​

Online Case
The application process includes an online problem solving assessment that must be completed on November 16, 2022 between 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM ET. All applicants are required to take the online problem solving assessment to complete their application. The assessment takes ~40 minutes and must be completed within the above time range. 

Pymetrics
If you apply to a US BCG office, you will also receive an email inviting you to play the pymetrics games after you submit your application. These 12 neuroscience-based games provide insight into your cognitive and emotional attributes and your potential for success at BCG. The games take ~25 minutes to play, and you will have 48 hours to play them after receiving the invitation. For more information on pymetrics, please click here. If you have already played the pymetrics games as part of a previous BCG application, you will not be prompted to play the games again as we already have your results on file.
