Meet Our Team

Jon Van Wyck is a Managing Director and Partner in the Minneapolis office and with BCG’s Gamma Data Science team. He works in Industrial Goods, primarily agribusiness, and specializes in analytics and digital operations. Jon spent the first seven years of his career in Chicago with a brief stint abroad based out of Vienna and Johannesburg. Jon joined BCG in 2010 after completing his MBA at Harvard Business School. Prior to BCG he worked in litigation consulting with Navigant Consulting. Jon lives in Shorewood, MN with his wife, Emily, and their three children (9, 7, 5). In his spare time, Jon enjoys family hikes, playing many sports (though none particularly well) and getting far too invested in Notre Dame football.

Jonathan Van Wyck
Recruiting Partner
Sarah is a Talent Acquisition Lead in the Chicago office overseeing campus recruiting at undergraduate and graduate programs across the Midwest. Sarah originally joined BCG in 2017 in the Washington, DC office and has held a variety of roles across recruiting during her tenure. Prior to BCG, she worked in campus recruiting for FTI Consulting. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.

Talent Acquisition Campus Lead
Linnea Anderson is a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in the Minneapolis office. Linnea joined BCG in 2022 and oversees MBA and Advanced Degree campus recruiting in the Midwest. Linnea is from Minnesota and grew up going to Gopher football games! She earned her BA in Business Management from Gustavus Adolphus College. Outside of work, Linnea enjoys going to breweries, reading, and spending time with friends!

Talent Acquisition Campus Specialist
Erik joined BCG full time in January of 2020. At BCG, Erik’s work has focused on defense and security, industrial goods, and digital operations. Erik received his B.S. in Political Science and Russian from the United States Military Academy at West Point; he served in the Army for six years before going to grad school and completing his MBA and MS in Business Analytics at the Carlson School of Management. In his free time, Erik spends time with his wife and two kids in Apple Valley.

Project Leader and Recruiting Specialist
Alexis joined BCG in April of 2022. At BCG, her work has focused in the healthcare sector. Alexis received her B.A. from University of Wisconsin – Madison in history and political science and recently completed her full-time MBA at the Carlson School of Management. In her free time, Alexis enjoys going on adventures with her Border Collie, Lola, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings (despite having little to cheer for most of the time), and binge watching documentaries.

Racquel is the Talent Acquisition Lead for all North American-based recruiting for BCG's international offices. Racquel is located in the Boston office and graduated from Boston College with a major in History and a minor in Philosophy. In her free time, Racquel loves to run and spend time on the beach.

Global Talent Acquisition Lead
Dimitri joined BCG in 2017. At BCG, he has served clients across a wide range of industries with the majority of his work residing in the consumer sector. Dimitri received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and his M.S. and Ph.D. in the same field from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds an MBA from the University of Texas – Austin’s McCombs School of Business. In his free time, Dimitri enjoys Crossfit, cooking, and spending time with family.

Black, Latinx, and Indigenous Recruiting Director
Nico is a member of the Consumer Goods practice, with a focus on Fashion & Luxury, and Marketing. Nicolas originally joined BCG's Bogota Office and transferred to New York after completing his MBA. During his MBA, Nicolas interned at YOOX Net-A-Porter Group in Milan and Cole Haan in New York. Nicolas earned his MBA at Harvard Business School. He holds a Master in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA in Business and Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.

Rylan joined BCG in August 2017. He primarily works in Healthcare R&D, with a focus on biopharma clinical trials. He has extensive experience working with DV and Gamma. Prior to joining the firm, Rylan served as a US Navy officer with expertise in both anti-piracy and long-range missile planning. He is part of Veterans@BCG and serves on the leadership team as head of recruiting. Rylan holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Duke University.

Patrick joined BCG as a Summer Consultant in 2019 and returned full-time in September 2020. He primarily works in Aerospace and Defense across manufacturing, supply chain and strategy topics with both government and commercial clients. Patrick is a member of the Veterans@BCG and currently serves as Recruiting Director for the network. Before joining the firm, Patrick spent over eight years in the U.S. Navy as a maritime patrol and reconnaissance aviator, operations manager, and aide de camp to the Navy’s budget leader (OPNAV N9). Patrick earned his BA in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Matt is a Project Leader in the Chicago office of Boston Consulting Group and a member of the Technology and Digital Advantage (TDA) practice. Prior to BCG, Matt worked for 5 years in various software engineering roles for NVISIA, a boutique software consulting firm, and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Matt received an MBA and certificate in Health Sector Management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and BS in Computer Science from Indiana University."

Events

Each year, Carlson College students choose to start their careers at BCG. Attend a recruiting event that's right for you & speak with BCGers on your campus.

Application Process

SUMMER APPLICATION DEADLINE

It’s an exciting time to join BCG! Please apply here by November 29, 2022 at 11:59 PM CT. You will be asked to provide:
  • A resume
  • Your office preference(s)—up to three, weighted to reflect your level of interest in each​
  • A cover letter (optional—you may upload your resume twice if the system requires an upload and you do not want to submit a cover letter)​
  • An indication of your interest in the DigitalBCG Consultant role. DigitalBCG Consultants have previous digital/technical work experience and want the majority of their work to be spent solving digital problems.​

Online Case
The application process includes an online problem solving assessment that must be completed on December 2, 2022 between 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM CT. All applicants are required to take the online problem solving assessment to complete their application. The assessment takes ~40 minutes and must be completed within the above time range. 

Pymetrics
If you apply to a US BCG office, you will also receive an email inviting you to play the pymetrics games after you submit your application. These 12 neuroscience-based games provide insight into your cognitive and emotional attributes and your potential for success at BCG. The games take ~25 minutes to play, and you will have 48 hours to play them after receiving the invitation. For more information on pymetrics, please click here. If you have already played the pymetrics games as part of a previous BCG application, you will not be prompted to play the games again as we already have your results on file.
