Mirna Wahab is a Lead AI Engineer from Australia and an award-winning future leader inspiring women in tech to reach new heights.

From a young age Mirna had a knack for tech mischief, even hacking into her family’s MSN Messenger accounts for fun. This sparked a new interest in cybersecurity for Mirna—and her family too.

After pursuing paths in becoming a chef and playing rugby, she decided to study Computer Science and started her career as an Engineering Intern at BCG Digital Ventures now BCG X. Her role enabled her to build digital products from the ground up, giving her eight years of experience across ventures and a deep interest in the people behind each product.

As she explains: I like being close to users to understand their journey. I don’t just want to write code; I want to build something meaningful.

That drive to understand people makes her a natural mentor. She leads the BCG X Women group in Australia and collaborates with the Singapore team on career development, training, and hackathon initiatives across the region.

Mirna has recently been recognized as a Top 20 Future Leader on the 2025 Heroes Role Model List, and her initiative will be extended to more women across BCG in 2026.

Pulkit from BCG India at Ladakh marathon, 11,555 ft. 🏔

Running the 42.195km distance at Ladakh Marathon was more than just another race for me, it was a test of resilience, grit, and passion. At 11,155 feet, with thin air, scorching sun, and steep elevation, this is one of the toughest and highest marathons in the world.

These are the same qualities I bring to my work at BCG, where every challenge is an opportunity to grow, push limits, and achieve something meaningful.

Alisha Perera has built her career at BCG Toronto around her passion for people.

What started as a university internship grew into multiple internships, and eventually a full-time role where she now leads talent acquisition across Canada. Along the way, she has been supported by colleagues who advocated for her growth and helped her feel a strong sense of belonging.

A highlight of Alisha’s career has been shaping campus recruitment in Canada, especially through initiatives that promote inclusivity in hiring. 🌟

She also credits her success to the friendships and networks she has built at BCG, including WomenBCG and the Asian Network, which continue to support her both personally and professionally.
