In 2024 BCG launched the LCC as a growing operations and support hub delivering multilingual, high-quality services to global teams. Alessia had the exciting opportunity to temporarily relocate to Lisbon to support its launch. She quickly fell in love with the project, the team, and of course, the city and as of January 2025, she is officially a permanent employee of the LCC team.
As an LCC team leader one of her favorite things is welcoming and onboarding new hires because she remembers what it was like when she first joined BCG.

Testimonials

BCG has a unique culture that supports personal growth and development. I am given the space to better myself, but always with the right support both in terms of knowledge and processes as in the people who embrace this ride with me. Working at the BCG Lisbon office enhances the whole experience. Being a small office gives you the opportunity to get to know everyone and create relationships, underpinned in a strong culture of collaboration and teamwork. I feel surrounded by people that I admire both at a professional and personal level and who I consider my mentors and friends. It's true that we work hard, but we play harder, with plenty of activities to foster the everlasting BCG culture!

At the Lisbon Capability Center, I split my time between local HR processes and supporting global teams across the G&A (Germany & Austria) and EMC (Europe, Middle East, and Caspian) regions. My days start with a sync call with our New Delhi team to align priorities and collaborate across time zones. From drafting offer letters to resolving ServiceNow tickets, my role keeps me engaged in both strategic coordination and people-focused operations.
