🌎🧳Il turismo globale triplica: da 5.000 a 15.000 miliardi di dollari entro il 2040.

Non è solo una questione di numeri, ma il riflesso di un cambiamento culturale: costruire ricordi vale più che acquistare beni materiali.

Secondo i nostri dati, a trainare la crescita sarà il turismo nazionale, con un valore stimato di circa 11.700 miliardi di dollari entro il 2040 e circa 18 miliardi di pernottamenti.

Alla base della crescita dei viaggi di piacere vi è soprattutto l’ascesa della classe media nei mercati emergenti, insieme alla preferenza sempre più marcata per esperienze autentiche e memorabili rispetto all’acquisto di beni materiali.

📉💎 In 2024, the Personal Luxury Goods segment saw a 1% contraction: the first since the 2008 crisis excluding the Covid shock.

Why❓A mix of macroeconomic tensions, declining Chinese demand, and the marked withdrawal of aspirational consumers — those spending less than €5,000 per year on luxury goods and services.

In today’s post-pandemic and post-democratization landscape, it’s the top-tier consumers — those spending over €50,000 annually — who are driving growth, especially in experience-rich categories: 🚘🖼️🧘‍♀️ design, art, wellness & longevity, fine dining, hospitality, luxury cars.

But top-tier consumers don’t just stand out for their spending power. Their expectations are high: they seek personal connection, intimacy, artisanal excellence, and recognition. Yet, many still feel underserved.
