Since 1997, BCG Budapest has grown from a seed into a cornerstone of excellence, becoming a trusted partner for Hungary's top enterprises. In 2014, we grew our presence in Slovenia, Croatia, and Romania, showcasing our commitment to regional expertise. Requirements

BCG Budapest seeks diverse applicants with:

Exceptional academic records.
Master's, MBA, or PhD (complete/near-complete) for Full-Time roles.
2nd/3rd year Bachelor's or 1st year Master's for Internships.
Fluency in Hungarian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovenian, or Croatian.
Impactful extracurriculars demonstrating commitment and initiative.
Solid work history across sectors, showing impactful achievements and career growth.

How to apply?

You are required to submit an online application form including a resumé and a cover letter. You may select up to three offices of your choice in order of your preference.

Please choose the Budapest office even if you are interested in joining to our Bucharest office or SEE region.

Our Consulting Roles

Visiting Associate Internship

Explore consulting life through our 8-12 week Visiting Associate Program in Budapest, Bucharest, or SEE. Develop problem-solving skills, guided by top minds, as a Management Consultant.

This experience can shape your future career, potentially leading to a Full-Time Associate role post-university.

Internships open quarterly; key deadlines include January 31st for summer, March 31st/April 15th, August 31st, and October 15th.

If you are an undergraduate, you are eligible for an internship. If you have completed or about to complete your Master studies in the coming year, a full-time position will be most suitable.

We are accepting applications all year round but consider our application deadlines as we will start the selection process only after those with all candidates applied before the application deadline.

Regardless of when you decide to submit your application, we will review it and contact you accordingly.

Absolutely. Do check, however, eligibility criteria such as year of study: many of our events are designed for particular groups

We would recommend, sending your resume and cover letter in English, particularly if you have expressed interest in any of our other offices.

Our internship program is a chance for you to gather experience in management consulting, learn more about BCG, and for us to learn more about you. Our internships in BCG Budapest are generally 8-12 weeks of duration. For many students, this is the main step towards a full-time position with the company.

Start dates are somewhat flexible and agreed by both sides.

We can accommodate for spring, summer, and winter internships.

The same applies for the start dates of the full-time positions

If you are selected to start the selection process, the first step is completing an online case study. After the case study, there are two rounds of case interviews - with two separate interviews in the first round and two-to-three additional interviews in the second round.These interviews will include a personal part and a case study. Case solving is an important part of your preparation for interview.

Many talented professionals with various background and experience thrive in BCG. Working with your team and clients, you will learn at a rapid pace. You will receive intensive training and coaching based on your individual needs, as well as help and advice. Entry-level training is available, as are targeted training sessions at every step of your career.

We often receive too many requests to be able to give individual feedback.

However, the following key factors often steer our decision:

clearly outlined motivation for management consulting and BCG in particular;
consistent and outstanding academic performance that tracks across both secondary and higher education;
exposure to other work experience such as other internships;
extra-curriculum activities that demonstrate high level of engagement and strive for personal development.
