BCG Empower

A BCG Unlock workshop for admitted, pre-MBA students who identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino and/or Native American/Alaska Native/Indigenous.
Welcome to BCG Empower 2024
Whether you already plan on becoming a consultant or are hoping to discover if consulting is right for you, we encourage you to apply to BCG Empower as a first step to shaping your professional future. 

We’re excited to host BCG Empower in 2024. Live sessions will take place in Washington D.C. on June 24-26, Chicago on July 10-12, and Virtually on July 11-12.

Program Overview

BCG Empower, which is part of BCG Unlock, is an invite-only three-day workshop intended for incoming MBA students who identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino and/or Native American/Alaska Native/Indigenous. Designed to provide you with hands-on experience, BCG Empower will help you grow your business toolkit and learn the skills you’ll need to solve some of the world’s biggest problems. Through small group sessions, case prep, and social events, you will get the chance to build your network of mentors and meet other pre-MBA peers, all while learning more about a possible career in consulting at BCG.

To apply for Empower, first register for Unlock here. Second, apply to the Empower program here. You need to complete both steps by April 28, 2024 to be considered for Empower. Empower is for candidates who identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and/or Native American/Alaska Native/Indigenous.

BCG will notify applicants by late May.
Application Process and Eligibility
To apply to BCG Empower: 
  • Register for BCG Unlock  (registration link here) by April 28, 2024.
  • Apply to BCG Empower here by April 28, 2024.
  • Identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and/or Native American/Alaska Native/Indigenous.  
  • Select one of BCG’s offices in the U.S. or Canada you have interest in when registering for BCG Unlock and applying to BCG Empower.
  • Be accepted into one of the following two-year MBA programs starting fall 2024.

BCG will notify all Empower applicants in late May if they’ve been invited to join this additional workshop.
