Angela Michalik, Head of Columbia, Wharton, and Yale Recruiting

Meet Our Team

Angela oversees Wharton, Columbia and Yale recruiting for BCG. Prior to taking on her current role, Angela was a project leader in the New York office focusing on consulting to clients in the health care and consumer goods industries. Angela received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her joint bachelor degrees in business and law from the University of Queensland in Australia. Angela is based in the New York office of BCG. She enjoys spending time with her children and visiting Australia.

Shayla is the Talent Acquisition Lead for CBS, Wharton and Yale SOM. She started in the Philadelphia office, and recently transferred to New York City. Prior to joining BCG, Shayla was an Assistant Director at Villanova University's career center. She earned her MS in Human Resource Development from Villanova University & holds a BS in Marketing & International Business from the University of Delaware.

Jingy is the Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist on the CBS, Wharton and Yale SOM team, based out of the Philadelphia Office. Prior to joining BCG, Jingy worked in career services at the University of Pennsylvania where she advised Wharton undergraduates and alumni. Jingy earned her BA from Washington University in St. Louis and her MS from the University of Southern California.

Caroline is the Talent Acquisition Specialist on the CBS, Wharton, and Yale team, based out of the Philadelphia office. Prior to BCG, Caroline worked in MBA Career Management at Wharton, supporting the employer engagement team. Caroline has a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and a M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Talent Acquisition Specialist
Dana joined BCG as a Summer Consultant in 2018 and returned full-time to the New York office in July 2019. Her experience spans industries (TMT, Financial Institutions, Healthcare) and functional areas (agile operating model, growth strategy, mergers, pricing). Before joining BCG, Dana worked as a process engineer for an oil and gas company in Houston. Dana pursued her MBA at Columbia Business School and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University. In her free time, Dana enjoys exploring NYC restaurants, playing tennis, reading, and playing with her puppy.

Racquel is the Talent Acquisition Lead for all North American-based recruiting for BCG's international offices. Racquel is located in the Boston office and graduated from Boston College with a major in History and a minor in Philosophy. In her free time, Racquel loves to run and spend time on the beach.

Global Talent Acquisition Lead
Dimitri joined BCG in 2017. At BCG, he has served clients across a wide range of industries with the majority of his work residing in the consumer sector. Dimitri received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and his M.S. and Ph.D. in the same field from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds an MBA from the University of Texas – Austin’s McCombs School of Business. In his free time, Dimitri enjoys Crossfit, cooking, and spending time with family.

Black, Latinx, and Indigenous Recruiting Director
Nico is a member of the Consumer Goods practice, with a focus on Fashion & Luxury, and Marketing. Nicolas originally joined BCG's Bogota Office and transferred to New York after completing his MBA. During his MBA, Nicolas interned at YOOX Net-A-Porter Group in Milan and Cole Haan in New York. Nicolas earned his MBA at Harvard Business School. He holds a Master in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA in Business and Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.

Rylan joined BCG in August 2017. He primarily works in Healthcare R&D, with a focus on biopharma clinical trials. He has extensive experience working with DV and Gamma. Prior to joining the firm, Rylan served as a US Navy officer with expertise in both anti-piracy and long-range missile planning. He is part of Veterans@BCG and serves on the leadership team as head of recruiting. Rylan holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Duke University.

Patrick joined BCG as a Summer Consultant in 2019 and returned full-time in September 2020. He primarily works in Aerospace and Defense across manufacturing, supply chain and strategy topics with both government and commercial clients. Patrick is a member of the Veterans@BCG and currently serves as Recruiting Director for the network. Before joining the firm, Patrick spent over eight years in the U.S. Navy as a maritime patrol and reconnaissance aviator, operations manager, and aide de camp to the Navy’s budget leader (OPNAV N9). Patrick earned his BA in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Matt is a Project Leader in the Chicago office of Boston Consulting Group and a member of the Technology and Digital Advantage (TDA) practice. Prior to BCG, Matt worked for 5 years in various software engineering roles for NVISIA, a boutique software consulting firm, and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Matt received an MBA and certificate in Health Sector Management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and BS in Computer Science from Indiana University."

Application Process

SUMMER APPLICATION DEADLINE

It’s an exciting time to join BCG! Please apply here by November 28, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET. You will be asked to provide:
  • A resume
  • Your office preference(s)—up to three, weighted to reflect your level of interest in each​
  • A cover letter (optional—you may upload your resume twice if the system requires an upload and you do not want to submit a cover letter)​
  • An indication of your interest in the DigitalBCG Consultant role. DigitalBCG Consultants have previous digital/technical work experience and want the majority of their work to be spent solving digital problems.​

Online Case
The application process includes an online problem solving assessment that must be completed on December 1, 2022 between 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM ET. All applicants are required to take the online problem solving assessment to complete their application. The assessment takes ~40 minutes and must be completed within the above time range. 

Pymetrics
If you apply to a US BCG office, you will also receive an email inviting you to play the pymetrics games after you submit your application. These 12 neuroscience-based games provide insight into your cognitive and emotional attributes and your potential for success at BCG. The games take ~25 minutes to play, and you will have 48 hours to play them after receiving the invitation. For more information on pymetrics, please click here. If you have already played the pymetrics games as part of a previous BCG application, you will not be prompted to play the games again as we already have your results on file.
