Experienced Professionals

We are looking for Experienced Professionals (4+ years of industry or consulting experience) to join the Amsterdam team at consultant level. We recruit from a wide range of backgrounds and variety of industries. Becoming a successful consultant doesn’t mean you have to start your consulting career straight out of university.

Many BCG’ers kick-start their career in industry positions or research. As a lateral hire, you not only bring valuable experience to the table. You can even become a thought leader in your field, applying your expertise in many different industries. You can also decide to maintain a broader approach and join BCG as a generalist.

Application process at BCG in the Netherlands

There are five steps in the application process. Please read the following instructions carefully and make sure you submit the correct documents on time. The interviews take place in a hybrid format. Which means you have both virtual and interviews face to face at the Amsterdam office.

Online Assesment Environment

If we decide to take your application further, we'll invite you to the online assessment environment.

This consists of two parts: An Online Case and a Reasoning Test.

1. The online case is a virtual case experience consisting of a mix of qualitative questions, business logic, and analytical problem solving.
2. The reasoning test is a virtual reasoning test in which you interpret graphs, draw quantitative conclusions based on available information and make calculations.

Round 1 Interviews

if you pass the online assessment environment, we'll invite you to the first round of interviews. This round will consist of two case interviews that will last 60 minutes each.

We'll provide you with detailed feedback and, depending on how you perform, we may invite you to the final round of interviews.

Round 2 Interviews

The final round consists of four interviews: a personality-based interview with a recruiter (45 min), two case interviews (60 min) and a written case (2,5h).

Offer

Following this second round of interviews, we may decide to extend you an offer. If that's the case, we'll consult with you on the best start date!
