At BCG, our purpose is to unlock the potential of those who advance the world. We solve the toughest challenges and drive impact by bringing together diverse, multidisciplinary teams from across our businesses and geographies.

We are looking for driven, curious students who are excited by a challenge and want to have a positive impact on their communities, whether local, national or global.

If that sounds like you, we want to get to know you and help you reach your goals.  We invite you to join our community as a Scholar and/or as a graduate employee.

As a BCG Scholar, you will receive $20,000 in scholarship funding, a mentor through the remainder of your studies and a full-time graduate job offer with BCG ANZ.

As a graduate at BCG, you will be tackling the toughest challenges, benefiting from accelerated learning that serves you for a lifetime, and working with a caring, diverse and inclusive community of exceptional people.  You can find more about who we are and the work we do here.
Scholarship overview

In 2023, we are offering three scholarships to students.

We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and disciplines to apply – there is no ‘standard type’. Our process is designed to help you get to know us and what we do at the same time as we are getting to know you.  Through that process, we hope you come to see BCG as a place that provides an unparalleled start to your career and equips you to have the positive impact you seek.

We particularly want to encourage applicants from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in our industry and empower them to become future leaders and change-makers.  With that in mind, we offer two scholarships for students who identify specifically as:

•    Women or Non-Binary
•    Indigenous (including Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islands, Māori, or Pacific Island origin)

Our third scholarship is open to all candidates who meet the eligibility and selection criteria.  Anyone applying for one of the targeted scholarships will be automatically considered in this category as well.
Early Intake program

Alongside our scholarship program, we will consider students who meet the scholarship eligibility criteria for a graduate role as part of our Early Intake program.
Application process

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship or graduate position at BCG, submit an application by clicking on one of the buttons below between now and 10:00am Monday 8 May 2023 (AEST).  This will take you to our global application page – you will need to select one of our Australia or New Zealand offices (Auckland, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth) as part of your application.

To help you with your application, we will run a workshop on writing a good cover letter and resume in April.  You can also review the FAQs below.

If you are selected to interview for one of the scholarships, you will be invited to a workshop designed to help you get to know BCG and prepare for the interview.  You will also be allocated a current BCG consultant as a “buddy” who can answer questions that you have about consulting, BCG or the interview process along the way.

You should also review our interview preparation materials on this website.
