As a BCG General or BCG women or non-binary scholarship recipient, you will receive $20,000 in scholarship funding, a mentor through the remainder of your studies, and a full-time graduate job offer with BCG Australia and New Zealand.  

Alongside our scholarship program, we will consider students who meet the scholarship eligibility criteria for a graduate role as part of our Early Intake program

Open to undergraduate students at an Australian or New Zealand University in their penultimate (second-last) year or earlier who identify as women or non-binary

General Scholarship

Open to all candidates who meet the eligibility and selection criteria.   Anyone applying for one of the targeted scholarships will be automatically considered in this category as well.

First Nations Internship and Scholarship

Open to undergraduate students at an Australian or New Zealand University in their penultimate year who identify as Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, Pasifika or Maori.

Scholarship & Early Intake Program Application Process

Our selection process has several stages to help us learn about you, and for you to learn more about BCG and a career in consulting. Through that process, we hope you come to see BCG as a place that provides an unparalleled start to your career and enables you to have the positive impact you seek.

Step 1

Submit your cover letter, CV and grade transcripts (as one document) via an online application – remember to select one of our Australian or New Zealand offices as your first office preference in order to be considered for BCG within Australia and New Zealand. After submitting your application, eligible candidates will receive an invitation to complete our online case assessment.

Our team will review your application and case assessment before shortlisting successful candidates to complete our online numerical assessment.

Step 3

Once completed, our team will shortlist successful candidates for first-round case interviews. Check out our  interview preparation materials here.

Step 4

Case study interviews are different from behavioural-based interviews and to help you prepare for them, you’ll be invited to attend one of our Case Study Workshops either in person or virtually. You will also be allocated a current BCG consultant as a “buddy” who can answer questions that you have about consulting, BCG or the interview process along the way.

After the first round of interviews, we will notify you promptly.

Open to undergraduate students at a registered Australian or New Zealand university who are in their penultimate (second-last) year of study or earlier. We also welcome applications from students completing their Juris Doctor or Doctor of Medicine, as well as other non-MBA masters at the University of Melbourne and the University of Western Australia.
