Whether you're early in your career or transitioning from a different path, we value the diverse skills and perspectives you offer. Previous consulting experience is not required—we welcome a range of backgrounds and industries. If you’re excited to grow, learn, and make an impact, the Associate role could be the perfect fit. Our comprehensive onboarding and training programs will support your success from day one.

Consultants at BCG generally have 4+ years of professional experience and/or an advanced degree (such as an MBA or PhD). If you’ve built depth in a field or function and are ready to bring your expertise to complex, strategic challenges, the Consultant role may be right for you. Prior consulting experience is valued but not essential. We believe the unique perspective you bring is what matters most—and we’ll ensure you’re set up to thrive through tailored training and support.

Experienced Hires at BCG

At BCG, an ‘Experienced Hire’ Associate or Consultant refers to an applicant who is a working professional (i.e., not currently pursuing a degree). We value diversity of experiences and backgrounds, so, whether you have a few years of experience or an established career, you will be able to apply your knowledge and skills to this role at BCG.
